Melchizedek Kings of Righteousness II

Jesus being the King of Righteousness according to the Order of Melchizedek is an extremely important foundational truth. I pray we all receive this revelation of God’s Word. I pray we have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to us, Life Song Church. This is a key element of the Morning Star Authority. God is bringing Life Song Church into the Morning Star Authority. This is the government of Jesus Christ (Isa 9:6,7) carried out by His Kings, Priests and Prophets (Isa 10:24-27) with the authority given from Rev 2:26-28. Prov 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. We are “searching out” the Order of Melchizedek.

Melchizedek means “King of Righteousness.” Hebrew word “melek” means “king.” Hebrew word “Zedek” means “righteous.” Melchizedek is a single person, but more so, a priesthood. It is an order of priests. Like the title Caesar, Pope, President, or Judge. Melchizedek is a title for the Kings of Righteousness.

Melchizedek Priests have a three-fold anointing as King, Priest, and Prophet. This lineage was established before the Levitical Priesthood, before Israel was a nation. Right after Abraham paid a tithe to Melchizedek, God made a covenant with him to bless the families and the nations of the world through him.

Abraham goes to battle to rescue Lot and get back his goods. On his way back Melchizedek King of Salem who was the priest of God Most High, brought out bread and wine to bless Abraham.

Gen 14:18-20 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; 20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand." And he gave him a tithe of all.

God Most High: Strong’s #5945; Elyon, Most High, uppermost, pertaining to the heights, in the highest, supreme, lofty, exalted, high in rank, elevated. Derived from the verb alah meaning “to ascend.” God Most High is the ultimate authority as He is Lord of Host (Heaven’s army). God is Sovereign.

“Possessor of heaven and earth” acknowledging God owns everything in Heaven and Earth. God is Provider.

“Delivered your enemies into your hand” God brought the victory, but Abraham had to put his “hand” to the battle. God is Protector.

“My tithing is a covenant acknowledging God as Sovereign, Provider and Protector, and Jesus Christ as the King of Righteousness after the Order of Melchizedek.”

The greater (Melchizedek) blessed the lessor (Abraham) and commissioned him into the Melchizedekian Priesthood. Melchizedek is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ.

This tithe was given before the Nation Israel was created and before the Law (Ten Commandments) was given. The tithe was part of entering a covenant with God Most High. Theologians believe at this time Abraham was stepping into the
Melchizedekian Priesthood. The first Melchizedek Priest was Adam. Jesus is the tenth and final Melchizedek High Priest, but we are His Kings, Priests and Prophets after the Order of Melchizedek. Jesus is our Melchizedekian High Priest, and we are His Kings, Priests and Prophets. We are Kings of Righteousness and Kings go out to battle. We fight for His righteousness! Rev 5:10 “And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”

We tithe not out of law, but out of covenant, out of honor to Jesus Christ who is “a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek,” (Heb 7:17). Just like Abraham tithed to the “Order of Melchizedek” and entered the order of Melchizedek priests, we tithe to Jesus Christ who is the “Forever Melchizedek High Priest.” Tithing is a sacrament given through faith, to honor our Lord. It is not done under law, for the Levitical priesthood is gone. It is a Covenant acknowledging God is Sovereign, He owns everything (our Provider) and He is our Protector. Our 100% trust is in Him.

Gen 15, 16 and 17: Right after Abraham tithed to Melchizedek, he entered into covenant with God.
Covenant; Strong’s #1242, diatheke (dee-ath-ay-kay): a will, testament, pact, contract, an agreed upon plan to which both parties subscribe. While the word may signify an agreement between two parties, with each accepting mutual obligations, most often it is a declaration of one person’s will. In the Bible, God initiated the whole action, set the conditions, and defined as a decree a declaration of purposes. God made covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses and Israel. Entering a covenant takes a conscience decision from both parties.

Hebrews has 6 chapters (5-10) explaining Jesus as our High Priest; the first 3 are about the Melchizedekian Priesthood.
Hebrews 7:1-9 is subtitled “The King of Righteousness” mentioning the word “tithe” 7 times.
Tithing cannot be done under law, because it would not be given in righteousness. For it to be done in Righteousness, it must be a personal decision by faith of the heart, given to honor our Lord Jesus Christ the High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek. In the Old Testament, tithing was done under law through the Levitical priesthood. In the New Testament, the law changed into a covenant of love, forgiveness and grace followed by judgment and justice.

God Gave an Oath!
When God put Jesus in the order of Melchizedek, He (God) did it with an oath. That shows the seriousness of how powerful this is. Heb 7:20-22 And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath 21 (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: "The Lord has sworn And will not relent, 'You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek'"), 22 by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.

Heb 5:5-11 So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You, (Ps 2:7)” 6 As He also says in another place: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek"; …10 called by God as High Priest "according to the order of Melchizedek," 11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

The Prophecy of the Morning Star Authority
Ps 2:1-3:1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us."
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion."
7 "I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel.'"
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

The Promise of the Morning Star Authority
Rev 2:26-28 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power (authority) over the nations — 27 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' — as I also have received from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star.

Ps 110 The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." 2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 The Lord has sworn And will not relent, "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek." 5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. 6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. 7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.
Abraham had to go and fight to get back his family and children. We are Kings called to do the same!
