After initially refusing, Kevin Hart issued an apology for his Anti-Gay comments from the past and said he will not host the Oscars.

He just made the announcement that he voluntarily stepped down, and “I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”
