Michigan has Military Friendly Community Colleges

Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City and Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor have been recognized as Military Friendly Schools for 2025=26 by MilitaryFriendly.com. They are the only two-year schools in the state to make the list. NMC was also recognized last year as a gold-level Veteran Friendly School by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.
