Prof dr. med. Robert W.D. Gorter is an officially recognized Anthroposophic medical doctor and researcher since 1975. He ended up being an ( associated ) professor at 7 universities in 3 continents at the same time. Therefore, he lectured and conducted research all his professional life up till today (2025). Quite a few medical doctors got their PhD by research conducted together.

He became very well-known because of the “Gorter Model” which found broad recognition around the world. In the year 2011, the Nobel Prize for medicine was awarded to Dendritic Cells which he helped to develop and which he consequently applied in cancer patients since the year 2000.
