Ed Fisher:
Ed Fisher is the founder of Citizens for West Virginia Election Integrity (C4WVEI) and a passionate advocate for transparent, secure, and trustworthy elections. With over 40 years of experience as an IT professional and academic—teaching at institutions like WVU, Boston University, and Northeastern—Ed brings a data-driven, systems-level mindset to election reform.
A native of the Pittsburgh area with deep family roots in Preston County, WV, Ed earned his B.S. and M.S. from West Virginia University and a PhD in Engineering from Purdue. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett Packard and Dell Technologies. Now living on a farm in Monongalia County with his wife of 49 years, Ed has redirected his expertise toward civic action.

In 2023, he founded C4WVEI to bring transparency and accountability to West Virginia elections. Since then, he’s been instrumental in launching key initiatives such as the WV Election Integrity Caucus and Registration Audit Center, and continues working directly with citizens, lawmakers, and county officials to strengthen election protections.
