In response to the recent Australian elections both state and federal.

Sophia discusses her campaign to retain her seat in the WA Legislative Council and the concept of purity politics, a political strategy that emphasises strict ideological conformity and often marginalises individuals who do not completely share the same beliefs. This tendency can lead to divisions and impede collaboration.

She articulates the importance of steering clear of such an approach, pointing out that it undermines efforts to foster a united movement, especially when many fundamental goals align.

After her talk she invites the audience to participate in a Q&A and share their thoughts on the topic.
