Lee Zeldin urges GOP to take advantage of majority, pass laws that ‘stand the test of time’

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin supports including the REINS Act, a bill that would increase congressional approval of all major rules proposed by federal agencies, in the One Big Beautiful Bill. Following the reconciliation process, Zeldin hopes to see Republicans take on permitting reform, NEPA reform, and other laws that would improve federal agencies like the EPA and “stand the test of time.”
