Dr. Williams writes: “Christian education should be more than just avoiding the evil influence of the secular Academy. It is positively required by the nature of the Christian mind and the view of Christianity and culture we have seen. It has a critical role alongside church and home in transmitting the biblical worldview to the next generation and also in showing its relevance by applying it to all of life. As Machen said, “While truth is truth however learned, the bearing of truth, the meaning of truth, the purpose of truth” are entirely different to the Christian. Christian education then is not a luxury; it is a necessity if a new Reformation is to make its presence felt.
