The four priorities Sam listed for all Christ followers were:
1. To know Him
2. To be like Christ
3. To extend His kingdom by bearing fruit
4. To resist adverse elements, overcoming satan in spiritual warfare
The root system relates to priority # 1, knowing Him. The root system represents our devotional life.
