We Need to Discuss the New Apostolic Reformation Right Now: A Much Needed Conversation for the Times. I will be addressing the NAR movement which stands for New Apostolic Reformation. In short the New Apostolic reformation is the idea that God is restoring the offices of Apostles and prophets, in the end times church, to govern the local the churches through supernatural revelation. Informally the NAR is a polite way to say “crazy charismatic”. Names associated with the movement: Kathryn Krick, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Bill Johnson, Paula White, Heidi Baker, Mike Bickle and many more. We are going to answer the question: What is the new apostolic reformation? I am going to explains some serious concerns with the movement. And explains why i am charismatic but not NAR. In many ways they should have called it the New Apostolic Disaster because it has been a mess from the beginning. I myself am fully charismatic myself and have spent all 44 years of my life in the charismatic church. In light of all the moral failures and church scandals in 2024 it shows we need a MAJOR reformation in the movement. In order for someone to be NAR they need to believe in the offices of apostles and prophets, that these offices should govern the local churches and they do this through supernatural revelation. I state i am not NAR because i think the Local churches should be run by a team of elders part of that local church. And they should govern base on Gods word not supernatural revelation. I do believe in the supernatural but its not for creating doctrine. I leave room for people to function apostolically and prophetically. I do not think the giving the people titles apostles and prophets are helpful to the church In many ways its damaged the church. One of the key books on the subject is: A New Apostolic Reformation?
