Starbase

As of mid-2023, SpaceX has invested over $3 billion into constructing and developing Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas, its primary facility for building and launching the Starship rocket.

This includes major infrastructure like launch pads, high-bay assembly buildings, a $100 million office and factory complex, and over 1 million square feet of industrial space.

Additional funds have gone toward local development projects, including a $15 million retail complex and a $22 million community center.

Operational costs are estimated at around $4 million per day, or approximately $1.5 billion annually, reflecting the scale and ambition of Starship's development.
