Jesus REVEALS The Correct Way To Talk To God (Do NOT Make This Mistake)
So many of us struggle with prayer — wondering what to say, how to say it, or even if we’re doing it “right.”

But Jesus gave us a clear and powerful model in Matthew 6 — and He started it with a warning:

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites…” (Matthew 6:5)

❌ The Mistake:
Jesus warned against praying to be seen — using big, fancy words to impress others or treating prayer like a performance. That’s not what God desires. He’s not looking for perfect words — He’s looking for an honest heart.

✅ The Right Way:
Jesus then says:

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.” (Matthew 6:6)

This is the key: Prayer is intimate. It’s not about public display — it’s about private connection. You’re not speaking to a distant deity — you’re talking to your Heavenly Father.

And then Jesus gives us The Lord’s Prayer as a template, not a script:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…” (Matthew 6:9-13)

This prayer teaches us:

Start with worship – Recognize who God is.

Seek His will – Surrender your plans.

Ask for daily provision – Trust Him with your needs.

Confess and forgive – Keep your heart clean.

Seek protection – Acknowledge your dependence on Him.
