At the outset of our adventures in Greece, my friend Andy and I took a ferry from Athens to the island of Aegina, where we traveled by bike to the Church of St. Nektarios and Monastery of the Holy Trinity (both homes to the relics and remains of St. Nektarios). We then continued on to the ancient ruins of the Sanctuary of Aphaia, returning to the port around sunset.
