UC gets new name

Northwestern Michigan College’s University Center in Traverse City has officially been renamed the “Boardman Lake Campus,” the college announced Thursday. NMC launched the University Center 30 years ago as a way of offering advanced degree completion paths including bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctoral degrees, and specialty certificates.
