The Biden administration expanded the H-2B visa program, which can be used by trucking companies to hire foreign workers - and many are now saying sparked an underground trucking scam where migrants who don't speak english and got their authority illegally, are put behind the wheel of a semi-truck and on the roads with unsuspecting Americans.

According to Federal data, fraudulent carriers have 80% higher crash rates.

20 separate trucking companies were found to list addresses in one building in Dallas, Texas on the same street that multiple different businesses operate from an auto body shop to restaurants.

All of those businesses are registered to 539 West Commerce, a virtual mailbox service known as PhysicalAddress.com.

The companies do not have to physically be at the location and neither do the trucks. So if the federal government wanted to check records for any of the companies they wouldn't find them at the address listed of the companies - which is illegal.

Another example is in California where an address shows nearly 700 trucking companies linked to that single location - 500 have the same phone number and email.

An incident that gained national attention involving this very issue of 'Ghost' offices is that of Solomun Weldekeal-Araya.

The man who drove his 18-wheeler into stopped traffic in Austin, Texas. His bond was originally set at $1.2 million but was reduced by a Travis County judge.

President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to keep American families safe on the road by ensuring anyone behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle is properly qualified and proficient in English.

The Order directs the Secretary of Transportation to rescind guidance that watered down the law requiring English proficiency for commercial drivers.

It mandates revising out-of-service criteria to ensure drivers violating English proficiency rules are placed out-of-service, enhancing roadway safety.

It instructs the Secretary of Transportation to review state issuance of non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses to identify any irregularities and ensure American drivers are validly licensed and qualified.

The Order directs the Secretary of Transportation to carry out additional administrative, regulatory, or enforcement actions to improve the working conditions of America’s truck drivers.
