‘Truly a smack’: Macron slapped by wife before disembarking plane

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer discusses the moment French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped by his wife Brigitte Macron while arriving at Hanoi Airport.

“This wasn’t a tap on the shoulder or a light touch – this was truly a smack,” Mr Spicer told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“For her to know that this moment will really be on film sort of concerns me.”
