The Last of Us Season 2 Finale Lost HALF of its Season 1 Viewers

Season 2 of the HBO series The Last of Us started out strong bring in more viewers than the season 1 premiere, but it looks like that victory was short lived.

As the show progress the viewership decline, culminating in a drop of over 50% for the season finale when compared to season 1. Combine that with the declining audience score on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and it would appear we’re seeing a repeat of what happened with the game 5 years ago. Much like The Last of Us part 2 when it was released, access media allies have attempted to run cover for The Last of Us and dismiss any criticism. Unfortunately for the franchise people don’t listen to the media anymore.
