Why DC Movies Fail you may be wondering. Zack Snyder was the director behind multiple DCEU films. Snyder constructed the foundation in an attempt to compete with Marvel Studios. Marvel was on a roll with Iron man, Thor, & Captain America, all becoming big hits. Kevin Feige laid out the blueprint, which should've been a slam dunk for WB/DC.
