Emmanuel Macron shoved in the face by wife Brigitte

Shocking footage has emerged showing French President Emmanuel Macron being shoved by his wife, Brigitte.

Footage shows the moment the couple arrived in Hanoi, where Mr Macron appears to be shoved in the face by his wife before composing himself and disembarking the plane.

The pair were all smiles as they met officials on the tarmac for the first stop of their Southeast Asia tour.

The French President dismissed concerns, saying the pair were just joking about.
“We were squabbling, and I was joking with my wife, and I’m surprised by it, and it becomes some sort of geo-planetary catastrophe,” Mr Macron said.

“Everybody needs to calm down and should really focus on actual news.”
