Germany tests integrating self-driving cars into public transport

A project aimed at integrating autonomous vehicles into the public transit system was opened to public test users in small parts of Germany's Rhine-Main Metropolitan area on Monday (May 26). The people behind the project, named KIRA, hope that these vehicles can become an important link in the public transit system in the coming decade.
