A popular wooden platform at Sleeping Bear Dunes on the Pierce Stocking Drive has been removed. The platform at Lookout Number 9 was dismantled due to safety concerns caused by shifting sands. Pierce Stocking Drive and Lookout Number 9 remain open for the season, ready to welcome visitors. David Barr Michigan News Source.
