ANGEL WITH BROKEN WINGS 翼の折れた天使(エンジェル) (Cover)

On April 21, 1985, Nakamura Ayumi, one of the singers representing the female rocker boom of the Showa era, released her signature song "Tsubasa no Oreta Angel - ANGEL WITH BROKEN WINGS". It became a huge hit when it was used as the commercial song for Nissin Food Products' "Cup Noodles", the world's first instant noodle and a long-selling product. In 2008, a stronger version of the same song, arranged by the late Kamata George, was used as the commercial song for Kirin Strong Seven.

This month I am releasing the debut version. The lyrics and composition of this song are by the famous producer Ken Takahashi, who discovered Ayumi Nakamura and supported her debut. When I listen to this song, I remember my younger days. What songs remind you of the past?

昭和60(1985)年4月21日、昭和の女性ロッカーブームを代表する歌手の一人 中村あゆみの代表曲｢翼の折れた天使(エンジェル)｣がリリースされました。世界初のカップ麺でロングセラー商品でもある日清食品｢カップヌードル｣のCM曲に採用されたことから、大ヒット曲となりました。平成20(2008)年には故 鎌田ジョージ氏の編曲により再レコーディングされた同曲の｢キリン ストロングセブン｣用ストロングバージョンがCM曲に採用されました。

今回はデビューバージョンでのレコーディングです。この曲の作詞・作曲を担当したのは高橋研、中村あゆみを発掘してデビューさせた名プロデューサーです。この曲は私にとっての青春想起曲です。懐かしい自分に逢える曲、どんな曲がありますか？
