TIDRADIO H3 Plus Odmaster Warning! (Backlight Issue)

If you excitedly start using your new TIDRADIO H3 Plus like I did, you might want to slow down before using the Odmaster app with it.

This video (a) explains while you'll want to update the firmware first and (b) what to do if you end up with the same (apparently) blank screen I did. (The backlight got turned off.)
