The Day is Almost Here

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing that the hour has now come for us to be awakened from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over, and the day is almost here. So let us lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelries and drinking bouts, not in illicit affairs and sensual indulgences, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
