one step closer to V8 MX-5 POWER! (Bullet Roadster Project) - Part 4

This is my latest project—a 1999 Bullet Roadster, a rare V8 MX-5 (Miata) blending Mazda, Holden, and Land Rover DNA. With a Rover-powered 3.9L V8, this beast was 1,600km away in Northern Sydney, but that didn’t stop me. I grabbed a mate, hopped on a plane, and sealed the deal on what’s easily my most expensive project yet.

It arrived with plenty of character—coolant leaks, sump leaks, gearbox leaks… you name it. But with NSW rego still on for a short stint, I dove headfirst into the chaos. This Bullet may need some love, but it’s all part of the adventure!

That brings us to this episode where I ready to install a completely restored LSD differential as well as touch up other parts as I go.
