My Soul

Tears upon tears, cries upon cries

Despair is ever present with me

O my Soul Why are you crushed down,

O my soul? why are you troubled in me?

Have I lost hope in God.....

Have I lost hope

Oh has despair become my companion,

why does this emptiness fill my soul

such a void

I leaned on my own understanding, my own strength

I reaped what I have sown

and the cost is to high for me to bare

Is there an answer for me, is there deliverance for me

Can I be made whole

Can I have a hope again

Can I

Then I heard a voice say

Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be troubled, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my right hand will be your support.

Take heart and be strong; have no fear and do not be troubled; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go

Give your worries to the LORD, and he will care for you.

Christ gives the strength to face anything.

Oh God you give hope, God will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.
