How to UPGRADE your OLD MAC with EXTERNAL MODERN graphic cards!

Apple doesn't support external graphic cards with MACs from 2013-2017 that only have Thunderbolt 2 - I show you how you can connect them anyway and upgrade your OLD MAC with modern GPUs - at least with the latest macOS 12.7.6 Monterey!

COMMANDS USED:

diskutil list
sudo diskutil mount disk0s1

to use a nVidia graphic card change the following boot argument:
krygpu=NVDA (instead of =AMD)

to copy boot arguments: CMD + C
to paste boot arguments: CMD + V
