It Must Be True, Because AJ Lashbrook Said So...

Last night, during my YouTube live stream, a familiar name popped up in the comments—AJ Lashbrook. AJ, an individual who has trolled me for years, took it upon himself to post a slanderous comment: “Matt, you are a pedophile.”

It must be true because AJ said so, right?

Let’s examine the facts. AJ Lashbrook is not exactly a figure of credibility. This is a man with a conviction for animal cruelty, accused of the death of his previous dog, and with a dark cloud hanging over his role in his girlfriend’s untimely death. These are not rumours—they are documented facts. And yet, AJ sees fit to accuse others, casting shadows and lies without a shred of evidence or accountability.

It’s clear that AJ, a man lacking in credibility and standing, finds his purpose and validation by slinging accusations at others. His behaviour is textbook projection, a classic tactic of shifting blame and attention away from his own misdeeds.

Sadly, social media and online platforms seem to provide a haven for such individuals. They thrive in a space where they can spread lies with impunity, hoping that sheer repetition will make falsehoods stick. But the truth has a way of surfacing, and those who peddle in lies often reveal more about themselves than they do about their targets.

For years, I have been the subject of AJ Lashbrook’s trolling, but last night was a stark reminder of just how far he is willing to go. I will not be silenced or cowed by his baseless accusations. I stand by my truth, and I know my audience sees through the smoke and mirrors that trolls like AJ attempt to erect.

To anyone reading this who has ever been targeted by individuals like AJ Lashbrook: remember that credibility matters. Their words are empty, their accusations baseless. Ultimately, their own actions speak louder than any slur they attempt to throw your way.

It must be true, because AJ said so?

I think not.
