Yara Tous by Lattafa: A $30 Mango Explosion You NEED to Smell

Hey everyone, I’m back with another take on a women’s perfume, and this time I’m diving into "Yara Tous" from the Middle Eastern fragrance house Lattafa. I’ll admit, when I saw the "Tous" in the name, I thought they might be aiming for something French-sounding, but honestly, it’s the scent—and the price—that’s got my attention. I picked this up at Burlington Coat Factory for just 30 bucks, and it’s been popping up there since around November or December 2024. As part of Lattafa’s Yara series, this one’s a fruity twist on the original Pink Yara I reviewed a while back, and let me tell you, it’s a tropical explosion right from the start. The opening hits you with mango—hands down the star of the show—followed by coconut and a syrupy splash of passion fruit. It’s like cracking open a can of fruit cocktail, that sweet, effervescent burst just fills the air, but in the best way possible. Not cloying, not headache-inducing—just pure, juicy sweetness that feels alive and playful.

As it settles, "Yara Tous" keeps delivering. Two sprays are all you need—trust me, overspray this and you’ll be filling the room (which isn’t always a bad thing, depending on where you’re headed). The longevity is impressive: I’m talking 10 hours on clothes and a solid 6 to 8 on skin. The dry down smooths out into a powdery mix of vanilla, musk, and cashmere, but that mango? It lingers the whole way through, giving it this bright, tropical thread that never fades. It’s sweet, sure—definitely on the sweeter side of women’s perfumes—but it doesn’t feel synthetic or cheap. To me, it’s less like laundry detergent and more like that first whiff of canned fruit, intense yet genuinely pleasant. The projection’s strong too; you’ll leave a fruity wake behind you as you move, so people will catch that mango-vanilla vibe without needing to get too close. For anyone who loves tropical or fruity scents, this is a no-brainer blind buy. If sweet perfumes aren’t your thing, maybe sit this one out, but honestly, that’s a small crowd these days. For 30 bucks, Lattafa’s knocked it out of the park with this one—quality, staying power, and a scent that’s just fun to wear.
