India Exposes ISI-Linked Pakistan Spy Network; UP Man, YouTuber Among Key Accused

India has intensified its crackdown on the Pakistan spy network across the country. At least 16 nationals have been arrested by police across several states over links to Pakistan. All accused allegedly passed on details of India's national security to Pakistan-linked operatives. In the latest, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) arrested a scrap dealer on espionage charges. The accused Mohammed Haroon allegedly shared sensitive details with Pakistan officials. Earlier, the UP ATS also arrested a Varanasi-based man named Tufail on charges of spying after he was found to be a part of Whatsapp groups operated by Pak-linked organisations. Tufail shared images and information related to several key Indian locations like Rajghat, Namoghat, Gyanvapi, the railway station, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Nizamuddin Auliya, with Pakistani numbers. The crackdown began with the arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra on May 17, who is now being questioned by the NIA, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and military officials. The latest arrests come amid a crackdown on terror networks following the deadly April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
