HARNWELL: MSM finally hints at WarRoom’s thesis — Pope Leo’s election is all about US donations

VIDEO SYNTHESIS / “Pope” Francis may have been beloved by the progressive MSM, but actual church-going Catholics were left brutalised. Hence they rightly stopped giving to an organisation run by a man who hated them.

But this leaves an opening now for President Xi, who would be a fool not to exploit the Vatican’s financial vulnerability to his own advantage. The Trump administration should perhaps pause before granting moral authority to man who has not yet proven his independence from the CCP.
