Episode 178 - The Malcolm X Assassination (Part VIII)

In retrospect, the assassinations of JFK, MLK, and RFK had a few tactics in common. For example, CIA and/or FBI infiltration of the victim's inner circle, security stripping of the victim's protective detail, and a diversion to provide cover for the kill shot(s). The Gene Roberts story provides evidence that all three of the above-listed tactics were also used against Malcolm X in the Audubon Ballroom that day. What we are beginning to discover and will learn more fully in future episodes is that Malcolm X was right, Chicago wasn't his biggest problem, Washington D.C. was.
