Case Filed Against Manoharlal Dhakad After Obscene Video on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Goes Viral

Police have registered a case against Manoharlal Dhakad, accused of engaging in sexual acts with a woman in public on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The action came after CCTV footage of the incident, reportedly from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, went viral.

The video shows a Maruti car (MP14 CC 4782), registered in Dhakad’s name, stopping on the expressway, where the man and woman are seen engaging in sexual activity. The footage is dated 13 May 2025 at 8:26 PM.

Dhakad is said to be associated with the BJP, but party leaders have denied his official membership. His wife, Sohan Bai, is a BJP-supported district panchayat member. The BJP’s Mandsaur district president clarified that Dhakad is not a primary party member and his official status is unclear.

Dhakad, who also served as national minister of the Dhakad Mahasabha, has been removed from the post following the controversy. Bhanpura Police have booked him under IPC sections 294, 283, 285, 296, 34, and 3(5).
