God’s Will Vs. Man’s Will

Why does God give man free will? Why does God not create autonomous robots? Is Grace a license to sin? What does God mean when he says “I have set before you blessings and curses, life and death? Why does Yeshua (Jesus) give man the option of picking up his cross or not? Who will make it into God’s Kingdom and who will not according to Scripture?
