TITLE: MAX PAYNE: THE DEALER'S CODE

Scene: Max Payne walks the wreckage of his old neighborhood, now reclaimed from the grip of synthetic poison. He's not just a former cop anymore. He's a street prophet with a code.

INT. ABANDONED CHURCH TURNED COMMUNITY CENTER – NIGHT

Rain slaps the stained glass. A dim candle lights the altar, where Max Payne stands — trench coat, scars, and truth in his voice. Before him, a circle of dealers, ex-gangsters, and street soldiers. Some are young. Some are already half-dead.

MAX PAYNE (V.O.):
The city's been in hell for a long time.
Not fire-and-brimstone hell — worse.
Pharmaceutical hell.
Synthetic madness.
Death sold with a government label and a smiling face.

MAX PAYNE (aloud):
Alright, listen up.
New rules. New code.
If you're gonna deal in my neighborhood —
You're gonna deal God’s drugs.

(a few dealers murmur)

MAX:
Cocaine. Weed. Mushrooms. Tobacco.
The Creator’s pharmacopoeia.
Natural. Spiritual. Dangerous — yeah — but not evil.
You wanna help your cousin sell psilocybin tea to help people cry out their trauma?
Fine by me.

But you show up here with some Jeff Goldblum lab-born neon nightmare —
Some blue-glow meth cooked by a guy named Rick in an RV?

You're out.
Worse — you're done.

INT. FLASHBACK — A ZOMBIFIED TEEN OD's ON THE FLOOR, FOAMING AT THE MOUTH

A fentanyl strip falls from his pocket.
The Sackler name glints faintly in the fluorescent light.

BACK TO MAX

MAX:
No Sackler dope. No Purdue poison.
No oxys, no hydros, no fentanyl.
You push that poison here, you might as well be wearing the Devil Card.

(he holds up a Tarot card deck)

MAX:
You wanna flip cards? Here's the hand that garbage deals us:

Death Card — overdose.

Devil Card — addiction, chains, slavery.

Tower Card — family destroyed, everything burning.

Dealer in Back:
What about pills from doctors?

MAX: (walks toward him)
Doctors gave my partner’s daughter her first script.
Three months later, we were scraping her off the bathroom floor.
So unless that doctor’s name is God, the answer is no.

MAX (V.O.):
I used to enforce laws.
Now I just enforce truth.
If you’re gonna sling, sling like a human.
Not like a demon.

MAX (to the room):
From now on —
We keep our people alive.

He tosses a white feather onto the ground. Silence follows. A few heads nod. A new law, unspoken but understood.

FADE OUT TO BLACK
“NO MORE DEMONS. NO MORE DEATH.”
— Max Payne
