YET ANOTHER REASON TO NOT LET SOME FOLKS HAVE DOGS AS PETS.

WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?
Fanatic Cynophiliacs ~ It's a dog, not a person ~ Get a Life!

#1. I was driving to an appointment and couldn't help but notice the pickup in front of me with 2 large dogs in the bed. They were sitting, standing, and even running around the bed when the truck stopped at a red light. I thought to myself, "That's bullshit."

#2. The light went green and the truck pulled away. That's when one of the dogs jumped outta the bed. It was dragged on its leash and I started honking my horn like mad. Moments later the truck driver stopped and hopped out of his truck.

#3. Dog Boy ran around to where his dog was still hanging on its leash after being dragged for about a hundred feet or so through the intersection. I asked him if I could be of help and this jackass stared me down and said, "Leave me alone. Your horn honking spooked my dog which is why he jumped out of the truck!" Now that was an asinine thing to say, but understandable being as he's a damned dog-loving "Cyno." He was obviously trying to deflect his guilt onto me.

#4. Luckily a woman saw it all and pulled over to see if she could help. She let Dog-Boy know that my honking only came AFTER his mutt took a nose-dive onto the street. I remember her saying, "Hey, he was trying to get your attention! Your dog was being dragged!" A traumatized Dog Boy didn't say a word. I disconnected its leash and he scooped it up and put it in the cab and drove away.

#5. I've seen this sort of thing where owners put their animals on the same pedestal as blood kin and "Best Friends." This behaviour shows a person suffers from "Cynophilia", which is an unhealthy and an unnatural love of dogs.

#6. I've seen folks game the system claiming their dogs are "emotional support", "comfort", and outright lying saying they are "service animals." I walk through a Walmart and see "yap yaps" in shopping carts. I go into a hospital waiting room and see unruly and untrained dogs wearing bogus "service animal" jackets. I go into restaurants where I see obviously untrained animals under tables or along the wall, all of them wearing bogus "service animal" jackets.

#7. Remember that service animals are trained along with their owners. Both are specially trained to address and respond to a specific need by responding with a specific response. Anything else falls outside the guidelines of the ADA. Government does NOT recognize "therapy, comfort, or companion" animals.

#8. Service Dog Fraud is a crime as it violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. It's a sin when exploitation of your "fake service dog" demeans the reality and validity of "real service dogs". As your mutts misbehave in public, those "not in the know" see and assume them to be "real service dogs." This diminishes public respect and tolerance allowance for trained service animals.

#9. It's not enough to say, "Shame on you!" because you sorry bastards are only interested in feeding your unnatural desire to be close to your mutt. This is at the expense of everyone else. We need a law, a law with teeth!
