Doctors are incentivized to give out chemotherapy... some misdiagnose on purpose

A Dr in Michigan was Arrested for deliberately misdiagnosing Hundreds of healthy patients with cancer and administering chemotherapy for financial gain

I read up on it and it was a Dr from Michigan, not Ohio as Joe mentions; but it’s absolutely atrocious what this man did…

Dr. Farid Fata, a hematologist-oncologist, owned Michigan Hematology-Oncology (MHO), one of the largest cancer treatment practices in Michigan.

Between 2007 and 2013, he orchestrated a massive health care fraud scheme, falsely diagnosing hundreds of healthy patients with cancer.

He administered aggressive chemotherapy, intravenous iron, and other infusion therapies to patients who didn’t need them.

Approximately 553 patients received over 9,000 unnecessary injections or infusions.

What a monster!
