Trump Confronts South Africa's Ramaphosa with Claims of White Genocide

I've found this video of white crosses displayed during a meeting between President Ramaphosa and President Donald Trump, questioning its accuracy from EWN News Chanell in South Africa. During their Oval Office meeting, Donald Trump used the video, claiming the crosses marked burial sites of over a thousand murdered white farmers in South Africa, as part of his argument about a "white genocide" in the country.

However, the video is not of burial sites. It depicts a 2020 protest in KwaZulu-Natal province, where thousands of white crosses were temporarily erected as a memorial for Glen and Vida Rafferty, a white farming couple who were murdered. The crosses have since been removed.

Fact-checkers and organizers of the protest confirmed that the crosses were symbolic and not actual graves. While acknowledging criminality in South Africa, President Ramaphosa clarified that the majority of murder victims are Black, and rejected claims of a systematic genocide against white farmers. Trump also presented other materials, including images falsely attributed to South Africa, to support his claims, which were largely debunked.
