A month after the devastating Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, where 26 unarmed civilians were killed by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Nal Airbase in Rajasthan. The Indian PM warned Pakistan of severe consequences for its continued terror exports. PM Modi also emphasised that blood and water would no longer flow together, referring to the abeyance of the Indus Water Treaty. The Prime Minister also highlighted the specific targeting of Hindus in Pahalgam, symbolised by the removal of sindoor from Hindu women's foreheads. "The enemies of the world and the country have seen what happens when vermilion turns into gunpowder," PM Modi added.
