Tofu is a great protein-packed choice for anyone following a keto lifestyle. While it contains a small amount of carbs, it’s still keto-approved when enjoyed in moderation. This teriyaki version is flavorful, satisfying, and comes together quickly,perfect for plant-based keto lovers

Ingredients (Serves 1)

150g Firm Tofu

1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Mirin

2 tsp Sugar-Free Maple Syrup

¼ cup Water

1 tsp Minced Ginger

1 tbsp Sesame Oil

1 tbsp Chopped Scallions

1 tsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

In a bowl, mix water, soy sauce, mirin, maple syrup, sesame oil, and ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.

Heat a lightly oiled non-stick pan and pan-fry tofu slices until golden on both sides.

Pour in the prepared sauce and let it simmer until it thickens into a glaze.

Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
