Psalms 8-11 – Why are His people (those who obey Torah, His instructions) tried and tested? 2023

Psa 11:5
The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates.
Psa 11:5: This passage is a matter of punctuation. Most translations have a comma after "righteous," such as the NKJV. Elohim tests the righteous so they can demonstrate their obedience to Him. (Psalm 17:3, 26:2). Elohim tries and tests us in order to refine us and make us better for His use .
Zech. 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”
Mal. 3:3 “And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the LORD offerings in righteousness.
