Retailers are warning that high costs from U.S. tariffs are about to hit. Some of them are planning to shoulder the extra costs themselves. Others are saying that they will increase prices. The message from the Trump administration is for companies to “eat the tariffs.”
In other news, a member of Congress is now facing criminal charges over an incident at an immigration facility. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) is now facing charges for allegedly assaulting, impeding, and interfering with a law enforcement officer.
