Explanation: INDIA, Four people, including a patient and his family members, were killed when a speeding ambulance skidded on a wet road and crashed into the Shiroor toll plaza in Karnataka's Udupi district. The ambulance, transporting patient Gajanana Naik (45) from Honnavar to Kundapur hospital, lost control while approaching the toll gate on National Highway 66, slamming into the counter and overturning. CCTV footage shows the driver failing to brake despite toll staff attempting to clear the path. Naik, his wife Jyothi (32), and relatives Manjunath (40) and Lokesh Naik (42) succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital. Toll employee Shambhaji Ghorpade sustained serious injuries, while ambulance driver Roshan Rodrigues survived. Police are investigating the incident.
