Hormones, Ideology, and Control: The Emotional Trap of Transitioning

Emotions don’t lie: when hormones begin to control the human mind, freedom starts to disappear. This is the implicit—and deeply troubling—message in a recent video that has raised alarms among parents, doctors, educators, and defenders of traditional values across the U.S.

In the video, a young person undergoing hormonal treatment to transition genders says, visibly emotionally affected:

“I got it, I got it. Look, those hormones are really starting to work. I just watched some clips from a really emotional movie and I got emotional. I normally don’t, but now I’m starting to.”

What may seem like a trivial comment or anecdote to some, represents for others a serious symptom of the direction society is taking—a direction where emotions are no longer natural but become chemically programmed responses, induced and pharmacologically altered by an industry that thrives on gender confusion, especially among youth.

This testimony is not an isolated case. It is part of a broader phenomenon: the growing number of teenagers and young adults subjected to radical hormonal treatments as a response to a crisis of identity artificially cultivated by progressive culture. The consequences are already becoming visible.

A Massive Experiment Disguised as “Progress”
For decades, medical science has been clear: sex hormones have powerful effects on human physiology, mood, and cognition. Estrogen, for example, can increase emotional sensitivity, alter reward processing, and modify how people respond to stress or visual stimuli.

Administering these hormones outside their natural biological context—especially to youth whose brains are still developing—risks altering not only the body but also the way individuals feel, think, and interpret the world.

The young person in the video isn’t acting. They’re not reading a script. They are narrating, in real time, what they are experiencing: an emotion they don’t understand, one that overwhelms them, one that comes from an artificial, induced source. They repeat it, as if trying to convince themselves: “I got it, I got it.” They say it while smiling, but beneath that smile lies an uncomfortable truth: something is happening inside their brain—and it’s not natural.

The Gender Industry: Hormones, Surgeries, and Profit
Gender transition has gone, in just a few years, from being a rare medical process for specific clinical cases to becoming a cultural trend driven by social media, academia, activist groups, and a multi-billion dollar industry offering hormone blockers, surgeries, “affirmation” therapies, and even school curriculum content.

Behind the slogans of “being yourself” and “identity empowerment” are pharmaceutical companies, specialized clinics, and international foundations profiting each time a young person enters the transition system. It’s a system that starts with pronouns and ends with irreversible interventions: mastectomies, hysterectomies, lifelong medication.

More and more voices, even from within the medical field, are beginning to say what many are afraid to: many of these treatments are being administered without adequate psychological evaluation, without clear diagnoses, and without considering non-invasive alternatives. The result is a growing number of people who, after years of being on hormones, are choosing to detransition and are revealing they were misled.

The U.S. Needs Clarity, Not Confusion
President Donald J. Trump has been one of the few national leaders bold enough to say what others won’t: children should not be the subject of ideological or pharmaceutical experimentation. His administration has worked to restore common sense in public policy, limiting the promotion of transgender content in federally funded schools and proposing strict bans on hormonal and surgical treatments for minors.

This is not intolerance. It is protection. It is responsibility. It is leadership. At a time when mainstream media has aligned itself blindly with gender narratives, truth has become revolutionary. And the truth is that children cannot give informed consent to irreversible medical procedures. The truth is that science still does not fully understand the long-term effects of cross-sex hormones. And the truth is that many lives are being irreversibly changed by decisions rooted more in cultural pressure than in personal conviction.

Why Is He Emotional? Because He’s on Hormones
Let’s return to the testimony. What this young person says is honest, unfiltered, and unmanipulated. And that’s what makes it powerful. They are saying, between the lines, what few dare admit: the hormones are working. And they are transforming emotional structure.

They’re moved by a film. They say it with surprise. Because they recognize that’s not how they used to react. Their new emotional sensitivity isn’t part of their core personality—it’s a side effect. It’s a biochemical result. And this kind of externally induced modification, without full awareness, pushes the ethical, scientific, and human boundaries.

The Future Cannot Be Built on Artificially Altered Bodies
The U.S. is facing a crossroads. We must either defend the integrity of the human body, childhood, biological truth, and emotional freedom—or surrender to an agenda that seeks to control people from within: through hormones, through neurology, through identity.

This testimony is just one among thousands. But it is a clear warning: we are losing control over what it means to be human. And we are doing it in the name of progress—without realizing we’re drifting ever further from what is natural, true, and real.
