Dr Andrew Old, Deputy Director-General of the NZ Public Health Agency, is representing New Zealand at the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva this week. He has spoken a number of times including on the "planned restructuring, streamlined internal systems and processes, equitable distribution of resources including to the populous, vulnerable and highly diverse Western Pacific Region, and closer collaboration with the UN and other global health entities", stating that "we should never let a good crisis go to waste", because "we are all in this waka together".

He votes in favour of NZ increasing our donations to the World Health Organization by 20%. Do you know how much NZ already donates to WHO? If so please direct us to the information which seems difficult if not impossible to find?

Did you know you are in this waka with Dr Old?
