The Great DC Deception: How the Deep State Betrayed EE.UU.

In an era defined by disinformation, politicized institutions, and media complicity, some voices are finally being heard—voices that have been warning us for years. One of them is Kash Patel, former senior official in the Trump administration and one of the few who has dared to expose the truth about what happened inside Washington’s most powerful institutions. In recent statements, Patel was blunt: what the American people endured under the narrative of “Russian collusion” was the greatest political hoax in modern U.S. history — and it wasn’t a mistake. It was a coordinated operation.

“They deliberately failed the American people,” Patel stated.
“They orchestrated the biggest DC deception we’ve ever seen.”

And he’s not exaggerating. For years, Americans were told—by the media, intelligence officials, and politicians—that President Donald J. Trump was a Russian agent, that he colluded with Vladimir Putin, and that his 2016 victory was the result of foreign interference. That claim dominated headlines, launched endless investigations, and undermined the legitimacy of a sitting president.

But as Patel and others have made increasingly clear, the truth was the opposite: it was never Trump who manipulated the system — it was the system that tried to destroy Trump.

The Fall of the FBI
Patel’s criticisms strike at the heart of what was once considered the gold standard of American law enforcement: the FBI.

“They said the FBI was the most respected law enforcement institution — and it was, and it will be again soon,” Patel said.
“But when people like Comey, McCabe, Strzok and company came in… they intentionally lied to a federal court to manipulate a presidential election.”

These are serious accusations — and they are backed by facts. The now-infamous FISA warrants used to spy on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page were obtained using manipulated and fabricated information, much of it sourced from the discredited Steele dossier — a political hit piece funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

FBI leadership under James Comey and Andrew McCabe not only failed to verify this information, they deliberately withheld exculpatory evidence from the FISA court. That very court, meant to safeguard the constitutional rights of citizens, was deceived — and in Patel’s words, “they were lied to… by the very people supposed to uphold the law.”

“They withheld exculpatory information from a federal court — the same kind of court I stood before to hunt terrorists,” he said.
“That’s what broke the FBI.”

Corruption Funded by Taxpayers
Even more outrageous is the now-repeated conclusion across various investigations that this operation was not just unethical, but possibly funded illegally with taxpayer money. If true, it means the American people were not only lied to — they were forced to fund their own deception.

From the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation to the Mueller probe, Democrats and their allies in the intelligence community launched a years-long witch hunt. All based on lies. All fueled by a desperate attempt to stop Donald Trump before he could drain the swamp and expose Washington’s rot.

“They tried to rig a presidential election. And when they got caught, they lied about it,” Patel said.

And yet, despite everything — the Inspector General’s report, the Durham investigation, congressional hearings — almost no one has been held accountable. The architects of this fraud appear on news shows, write books, and teach at elite universities. They are praised by the same media outlets that helped spread their lies.

The Media’s Role in the Deception
Patel didn’t just aim at corrupt bureaucrats. He also praised the few brave individuals who dared to tell the truth when it mattered most.

“You and a few others — like Dan [Bongino] — were brave enough to cover this six, seven, eight years ago, and we’re still talking about it today.”

And he’s right. For most mainstream media outlets, the Russian collusion hoax wasn’t a scandal — it was a business model. MSNBC, CNN, and the Washington Post turned unverified leaks into front-page news. The New York Times won Pulitzer Prizes for publishing fiction disguised as investigative journalism. Meanwhile, anyone who questioned the narrative was labeled a conspiracy theorist, a traitor, or a Russian puppet.

But now that the dust has settled, the facts are impossible to ignore:
Trump did not collude with Russia.
The FBI did abuse its power.
The deep state did interfere in the 2016 election.

It’s Time to Restore Trust — and Deliver Justice
If there’s one thing Patel’s testimony makes clear, it’s this: America cannot move forward until it confronts what happened.

That means full transparency. That means real accountability. And that means cleaning house — at the FBI, the DOJ, and every agency that allowed partisan corruption to take root.

Under President Trump’s leadership, there was a real effort to reform these institutions — to restore integrity to law enforcement in EE.UU. But those efforts were met with fierce resistance by an entrenched bureaucracy, the same one that doesn’t see Trump as a threat to democracy, but as a threat to their power.

And that’s the real reason they lied.
That’s the real reason they keep lying.

Because they know that, when the truth finally comes out,
they’ll be the ones exposed.
