Never Ends Well At Walmart

On May 19, 2025, at 7 p.m., Hillsborough County Sheriff Department's Aviation Section assisted our Interdiction Criminal Apprehension Team after a black Mercedes fled from a traffic stop on Hillsborough Avenue. The vehicle was later located on I-275 north of Bears Avenue, driving recklessly at high speeds.
Aviation Section unit maintained a safe overhead watch as the vehicle exited the interstate and parked near Bears Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway. Both the driver and passenger, ran into a nearby Walmart, where deputies quickly took them into custody without incident.
A search revealed $10,000 in cash and several baggies of marijuana. multiple charges including Fleeing to Elude Highspeed, Reckless Driving, Resisting Officer without Violence and Possession of Cannabis less than 20 Grams. Passenger is facing charges including Resisting Officer without Violence and Possession of Cannabis less than 20 Grams.
