Borderlands 4 Boss Faces BACKLASH Over Recent Comment | Says REAL Fans Would Pay Price Hike

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, is facing backlash over a recent comment where he said real fans would pay an inflated price of a new game.

Even before Nintendo revealed Mario Kart World would cost $80, many gamers were concerned about studios hiking the price of newly released games. The initial worry was that Grand Theft Auto VI would cost $100 new. Since Nintendo made their announcement others like Microsoft have said they too will be raising prices. When a concerned fan ask Randy Pitchford on X whether or not Borderlands 4 will cost $80 he said he has no control over that before asserting that a real fan will pay that.
