"The threat to universities is escalating daily. Across the country, higher education is under siege by coordinated attacks designed to silence dissent, restrict academic freedom, and dismantle spaces of critical thinking and resistance. From legislation targeting ethnic studies to the criminalization of student activism and the policing of faculty speech, these assaults are part of a larger authoritarian strategy to suppress movements for racial, social, and economic justice.
