Forced Reset Triggers Settlement - What Happened?

The Department of Justice and Rare Breed has reached a settlement over their FRTs or Forced Reset Triggers. The ATF under Biden had deemed these trigger packs to be machine guns, confiscating them from the manufacturing company and citizens alike.

The settlement is fairly simple but has some interesting details that stick out. Will this be good for gun owners and gun rights or primarily good just for the government and the company in question?

Is this the first step towards restoration of 2nd Amendment rights or a tactic to avoid a ruling against the government?
